  1. looks good on paper, an aspirational list of qualities, here’s hoping that people consider how a prospective and existing director measures up as long as it is not too unattainable.
    it seems essential to have a limit on the number of times any one member may be a director with re-election possible only after a certain period.
    in fact, absolutely every role, that is every role, of office bearer and all other appointments, both given or assumed from ages ago, should be limited to a certain number of times. Roles need to be open to all members and roll over be made compulsory.
    Thought needs to be given to the level of complexity that is established, such as treasurer, that excludes any reasonable person from assuming the role at the same time as making allowances for particular skills.
    In a community that espouses good will and enlightenment then equity and affirmation could be high on the agenda so that any reasonable member could become an office bearer with nothing less than full support guidance and affirmative action.
