A Radio National program, ‘Living in the Bite Zone’, about mosquitoes and Ross River fever spreading south along the NSW coast may be of interest. Particularly the study of rainwater tanks as a breeding place even in the cooler months, and the need for careful attention to screen/seal them. A vaccine has been developed and is waiting for commercial production.
