Simply out of interest, and for use in our conversations about the Goolawah community, I thought it might be handy to have an approximate idea of our permanent resident numbers. My back-of-big-envelope calculations are that we have about 82 adults and 28 kids/teenagers living here, for a total 110.

According to some history sources that corresponds to the upper limit for a medieval village, and after five minutes spent googling it was hard to tell if we qualify as a modern village or hamlet. But we’re certainly growing in numbers, with our own homegrown baby boom.
