I questioned why the Secretary omitted Business Arising (BA) from the Dec GM agenda. Including BA ensures we follow up issues and actions from previous GMs. The Dec GM agenda should have included the following BA:
1. Clarification of varying hourly rates for specific work claims and who is listed on the different teams e.g. machinery repair team, internal road works team, APZ team……(Craig).
2. Update Work Claim Form to link work with Budget Items (Denise)
3. Phone Tree guidelines update (Marc and Jac)
4. Rainforest – restoration, regeneration, and conservation of rainforest (Denise)
5. Rabbit Survey (Steve H)
6. Signage – site numbers under road names (Tanja and Dennis)
7. Living with Kangaroos link (Natalie)
8. Letter to Mary and Jesus group offering a one day visit (Secretary)
9. Cost for another defibrillator and members trained in CPR (Lexie)
Actions addressed that I know of from the Oct GM:
1. ?
2. The Work Claim Form has been updated to link work with budget items (available under Forms tab)
3. ?
4. Rainforest – Hot Spots ecologist Kevin Taylor recommended Bower Works Consultancy to help with advice, flora and fauna surveys. Follow up 2025.
5. ?
6. Signage – discussed putting site numbers under street names, no action to date.
I’d like to suggest those who had their name for an action from the Oct GM could comment like I have done. Helps to keep us on track with getting tasks complete and to record when the action is done.
