Greywater System Trench
The following info may be useful for Goolawah owner/builders – it was supplied by Jack Dickey, Environmental Officer at Kempsey Council, as it’s not contained on Council’s website.
The trench diagram details construction requirements. Dickey mentioned that a one bedroom dwelling must have a 10m long trench, and a grease trap between the dwelling and the trench.
Although it shows perforated pipe, plastic RELN mounds have also been successfully used.

Delegation Manual & Draft By-Laws
The Policy & Guidelines Committee recommended to the October General Meeting that the Delegation Manual and Draft Revision By-Laws be posted here (and on CK noticeboard) for consideration by members and invite their comments. The final documents would be voted at the January 2016 General Meeting.
SEPT 2015 DRAFT REVISION OF BY-LAWS 3
As explained at the meeting by-laws relevant to the Membership, Finance or Machinery Policy have been extracted so that those policies are complete and coherent, and their policy documents modified in the future as the community sees fit.
