Complain to Optus
If you’re suffering ‘holiday congestion’ on your Optus phone & internet network, then listen up. Louise & Tony made enquiries about how to attack the problem of ongoing poor reception, and have a contact named Rana (02 8085 9630), who is apparently in a position to do something. They suggest that we all start to call that person.
Coincidentally I’ve just been talking to another Optus manager, who said we should all make calls to 133 937 and ask that the poor reception problem be logged in their MapBlaster system. The more complaints they get the better. She also explained that the Optus network upgrade should be completed by April. You can check online for planned work, outages & updates.
So Optus Goolies will have to suck up the holiday congestion virus for another month at least. Meantime you better get cracking on your pestering phone calls (when you’re in town?).
