As mentioned in recent monthly meetings, the Policy & Guidelines Committee has been working away at updating Goolawah Co-operative Rules to harmonise them with the new Co-operatives National Law introduced in NSW in 2014.
Below is the first draft of our revision, along with a table of contents to guide readers in understanding the changes. Committee members working on this project have been Denise, Roger & Peter O, ably assisted by Belinda and Bronwyn.
Please leave any comments below or pass them on to any of us for consideration as we still have fine-tuning to do. All queries and suggestions welcome.
The plan is to leave the draft open for consultation and further amendment for the coming month or so, and then adopt a final draft at our October AGM.

Good work guys! Just read it all and my only question is do all our by-laws (no cats, dogs, guns, cloven hoofed animals, chemicals etc.) still apply as there is no mention of them in this doc.
My guess is that they do!
