As required by Legislation and Goolawah’s rules, the Board has renewed insurance cover for Property and Liability.

Liability insurance does not cover a member for any wilful breach or anything unlawful.

Special General Meeting – Sat 18 Mar 2023

The result of the mail-out is that 81% of members have committed to purchasing Infrastructure Shares. We needed all members to commit by March 10 to proceed with this option at this stage.

Therefore, at next Saturday’s meeting, members will vote on a Special Resolution to raise the Infrastructure Levy to $1450, commencing on 01 July this year, and also a minor rule amendment to allow the increase.

Nevertire Road Funding – Community Meeting 04 Feb 2023

As advised in the previous notice, a Community Meeting will be held next Saturday 04 February at 9 am at the Camp Kitchen (a week before the next General Meeting), following receipt of Department of Fair Trading advice that CCUs cannot be made compulsory.

Discussion will cover other funding options for the second stage of sealing Nevertire Road, and particularly the proposed introduction of Infrastructure Shares. All ideas and feedback from members will be welcome.
