Proxy Voting 10.7.2021

The Board has received questions regarding how to vote via proxy at tomorrow’s General Meeting.

  1. The Proxy Form must be tabled at least five minutes before the meeting.
  2. As per Rule 45 d, a proxy vote may only be counted on a decision by a poll.
  3. The Proxy Form has two Special Resolutions:
    • You may chose to direct your proxy how to vote on each resolution (closed proxy) OR
    • You may authorise your proxy to vote or abstain as your proxy thinks fit to vote inrespect of each resolution.
  4. By submitting a proxy, you are also authorising your proxy to vote or abstain on anyprocedural motion/s to be considered by the meeting.
  5. At tomorrow’s GM, the agenda states that after discussion we may also vote ‘to accept the revised Membership Policy’. It is important to read the draft policy and discuss your views with your proxy holder so they can represent you as if you were at the meeting and vote accordingly (open proxy).

Please contact the Secretary if you’re unable to get a copy of the proxy form from the website or if you require further clarification.
