Rule Breaches, Complaints & Disputes
A Draft Rule Breaches, Complaints and Disputes Policy is attached. It endeavours to simplify the existing Complaint Management Policy and Procedure and take into account feedback from members last year.
Please read and comment online or bring your views to the General Meeting in April for discussion.
Rule Breach Complaint and Dispute Management policy DRAFT V3
Animal Management Plans #1 to #10
The October 2021 GM discussed Animal Management Plans for Introduced Species and agreed that By-Law 8 should remain unchanged.
The Board was asked to obtain Introduced Animal Management Plans from members who have those species, including poultry, bees, rabbits, etc.
At the February 2022 GM members suggested the approved plans should be published on the website.
Members who haven’t yet completed their plans are invited to do so and pass them on to the Secretary or a Director. Below are the plans submitted so far.
Amended Guest Policy – Special Resolution
The draft amended policy was posted online in November for member input or comments, and mentioned during the December General Meeting. No comments were received to date, but the Board has added a couple of minor points in the Jan22 version below.
A special resolution for a policy change is required under our recent rule change (rule 42), and it will be proposed at the upcoming 12 February General Meeting. Reasons for making the resolution and the effects of it passing are explained in the introduction to the policy.
Special Resolution:
“To approve the Jan22 amended Guest Policy”
Moved: Denise Cobourn
Seconded: The Board
National Parks Draft Plan
The NSW Government has put a Draft Plan of Management for Goolawah National Park, Goolawah Regional Park and Limeburners National Park on public exhibition, inviting submissions by March 11.
As a significant neighbour of the Parks, the Board is considering making a Co-operative submission, as many of our objectives would coincide with the Draft Plan.
Contact the Directors if you’re interested in helping.
Meantime, submissions can of course be made by any interested individuals.
