Living with Kangaroos
The attached information sheet from the NSW Government Office of Environment & Heritage about living in close proximity to kangaroos may be of interest, as they definitely form part of the Goolawah community.
Council Refusal of DA-S96
As discussed at Saturday’s Goolawah General Meeting, Kempsey Council last month refused our new Section 96 application for the Co-op’s DA consent condition, which offered to provide an all-weather unsealed road instead of a type 3 sealed road for Nevertire.
The arguments presented by their officers to the Council meeting in December against our S96 are in the agenda and the formal vote against are in their meeting minutes.

Membership Policy
As previously flagged, the membership policy has come from collaboration between the Policy & Guidelines Committee and the Membership Committee, and will be up for discussion and voting at the January General Meeting.
