Working Bee – Sat 29 Sep
A Working Bee will be held this coming Saturday to tidy up Northgate road sides and other nearby fire trails after recent slashing and clearing. Members should meet at Sandmine at 9 am with gloves and enough energy for a couple of hours work. A few hand saws and mattocks may be useful to help form up piles. The tractor and co-operative chain saw will be on site too.

Revised Co-op Rules Aug 2018
As mentioned in recent monthly meetings, the Policy & Guidelines Committee has been working away at updating Goolawah Co-operative Rules to harmonise them with the new Co-operatives National Law introduced in NSW in 2014.
Below is the first draft of our revision, along with a table of contents to guide readers in understanding the changes. Committee members working on this project have been Denise, Roger & Peter O, ably assisted by Belinda and Bronwyn.
Please leave any comments below or pass them on to any of us for consideration as we still have fine-tuning to do. All queries and suggestions welcome.
The plan is to leave the draft open for consultation and further amendment for the coming month or so, and then adopt a final draft at our October AGM.

Tractor & Machinery Operation
As discussed at the last monthly meeting, Sec. Ralph and Roger have prepared a first draft agreement (below) designed for completion by all operators of our new Kubota tractor (and other machinery).
Study of the Kubota tractor operators manual and Farmsafe’s Safe Tractor Operation Guide are required homework:
